This weekend, we celebrated my Ph.D. graduation.

God granted Elizabeth the opportunity to teach at Notre Dame. So, the we are very, very excited to buckle down in South Bend. Thank you, God.

We're going to Notre Dame for over half a decade...starting this summer.

Shea and Elizabeth have had a great February so far.
Elizabeth's knee has been progressively healing and she is now able to do a good bit of the kind of exercising that she was prior to her surgery...now without pain. So, thanks to Dr. Heusch, we were able to start bike riding again (5 miles at go #1), and she's already started using the elliptical.

Shea has been accepted to 1 graduate program already and we are both praying for direction and guidance in the weeks ahead as more decisions are made.

We love the Northwest...even on its bitingly crisp days.

So, our little river behind our home made national news as it flooded! Here are some pictures of the wildlife preserve in our backyard that became an extended bank for the Puyallup River.
